Ancients Battle Day

Come and see hundreds of painted miniatures representing the armies of antiquity - including Etruscans, Greeks, Romans, Egyptians and many more. All arrayed on tables set up to represent ancient battles fought using rules which recreate the unique fighting capabilities of the troops involved.

This event is organised by a small group of enthusiasts who will be happy to let you know more about the hobby, so please drop us a line if you're interested in finding out more. The event is free to attend. If you're feeling brave, then please contact us in advance and we can arrange a loan of an army to allow you to join in. Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult, thank you.
